Jura can be reached in a number of ways by public transport.
Directly from Tayvallich to Craighouse on the Jura Passenger Ferry; via Islay, by Caledonian MacBrayne car ferry from Kennacraig or by regular, Loganair flights (operated on behalf of British Airways) from Glasgow Airport.

Caledonian McBrayne operate regular sailings from Kennacraig to both
Port Ellen and Port Askaig, Islay.
The connecting ferry to Jura crosses regularly from Port Askaig to Feolin.

From Glasgow to Islay, British Airways operates three flights on Mondays and Fridays, two daily flights Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, morning flight only on Saturday, afternoon flight only Sunday. Flights operated by Loganair.
